The 2026 season for the Buffalo Bills got off to a good start with a close win over the Houston Texans. Josh Allen was great, and so was new addition DJ Moore, who caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown.

But, in the opinion of ESPN analyst Ben Solak, there's a different player for the Bills that's their "secret sauce" this season other than Moore.

Solak identified first-round TE Dalton Kincaid as the team's "secret sauce" this year. The explanation why is simple: Kincaid might finally be reaching his sky-high potential and could be the key to unlocking another level of Allen's game.

"I think ... Dalton Kincaid is the Bills' secret sauce... Four years after the Bills picked Kincaid, we might finally get a view of what they envisioned for him," Solak writes. "If there's another level to find in the Joe Brady-Josh Allen pairing in Buffalo, it's through Kincaid."

The Bills offense looked great in Week 1 against the Texans, one of the best defensive units in the NFL. Allen went 20-for-29 for 324 yards and two interceptions, with 23 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns.

A 36-31 win for the Bills in Week 1 against a great defense is a fantastic way to begin the season. One of the most important results from the Week 1 affair was that Moore looked the part of a true No. 1 WR, and Kincaid finally broke out.

Five catches on six targets for 130 yards for Kincaid in Week 1. As Solak notes, it's the most by Kincaid in his career for a single game, and it's also the most by any Bills tight end since 1967.

Buffalo has been waiting for years for Kincaid to break out. He's dealt with injuries or drop issues, and hasn't been able to emerge as a big-impact receiving threat.

Fortunately for the Bills, that seems to have changed with this dominant Week 1 performance. Kincaid looked the part of a star tight end, and his emergence might be the "secret sauce" for the Bills offense to be one of the best in the NFL this year.

There's obviously more that will go into Buffalo's offense finding success this season, but Kincaid might be the difference-maker this offense has been searching for.

The application fee is as follows:

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹1,350

  • All other candidates: ₹2,700

The registration fee is non-refundable. Candidates claiming reservation must upload valid category certificates during the application process.

CAT 2026 Registration: How To Apply For CAT 2026

The following steps can be taken by candidates to finish the application process:

Step 1: Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2: When registering, enter a working email address and mobile number.

Step 3: Enter your academic, personal, and other pertinent information.

Step 4: If applicable, upload the required paperwork and category certifications.

Step 5: Choose five test cities.

Step 6: Make the necessary registration payment.

Step 7: Carefully go over all the details and send in the application.

Step 8: Save the confirmation page to your computer for later use.

Candidates will be assigned to one of their selected cities based on availability once registration closes. A nearby city may be chosen if none of the chosen cities are available.

CAT 2026 Registration: Reservation Policy And Certificate Guidelines

Reservations at the IIMs will be provided as per Government of India norms:

  • SC: 15%

  • ST: 7.5%

  • NC-OBC: 27%

  • EWS: Up to 10%

  • PwBD: 5%

While EWS certifications should be valid for the 2026–2027 fiscal year and based on the 2025–2026 fiscal year evaluation, NC-OBC certificates must be granted on or after April 1, 2026.

According to the CAT 2026 Information Bulletin, applicants who filed for a new NC-OBC or EWS certificate after April 1, 2026, but did not get it before the registration deadline, may submit the required undertaking along with the older certificate and proof of application.

Candidates should carefully consider their category while registering because once an application is completed, it cannot be changed.
