It sounds like Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have some good news on the way, and it actually doubles as bad news for the program’s biggest SEC rival…which definitely makes it sweeter for UGA fans.

And not only is it good news, it’s also bad news for the Florida Gators.
Georgia predicted to flip elite recruit from Florida
Simmons predicted on Friday that 2027 four-star offensive lineman Kennedee Jackson will flip from Florida to Georgia.
Jackson, 6-foot-6/300 pounds from Lithonia, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 16 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 9 player in the state of Georgia. He’s only been committed to Florida since June 2, so he’s not a long-time Gator commit.
“I'll call my shot on a flip…I believe the Bulldogs have put themselves in position to ultimately change the outcome,” wrote Simmons. “Kennedee Jackson is still communicating with the Gators and the Bulldogs, and the final decision has not been made, according to sources, but this one is trending toward Georgia.”
This feels like an easy call for Jackson. He’s from Georgia, and Kirby Smart wants him be a Bulldog. He can go play for a complete unknown in Jon Sumrall, who could be a more energetic Billy Napier for all we know, or he can stay home and play for a proven national champion.
I mean, decisions don’t get much easier than that.
